The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industry consisting of Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha members and Officers/Officials from Rajya Sabha Secretariat are visiting Lakshadweep from 16- 18th February, 2012. The committee led by Shri.Tiruchi Siva, Hon'ble Member from Rajya Sabha. The Committee conducted the meeting with UT Administration/Coir Board Officials on the issue of Development of Coir Sector in Lakshadweep islands. The Parliamentary Standing Committee will departure from Agatti for Kochi by Air India flight on 18.02.2012.
