Achievements at a Glance :HAMDULLAH SAYEED, Our Member of Parlaiment

1) Special attention given in the security of coastal area of Lakshadweep. It  has very much helpful to Lakshadweep people especially fishermen community.

       i) Coast Guard Stations at Kavaratti and Minicoy
       ii) 12 tonne interceptor boat to Police
      iii) Coastal Police Station

2) Hard Area Allowances to employees posted in the Androth, Kalpeni, Amini, Kadmath, Kiltan, Chetlath,Bitra islands. Trying hard for applicable to Agatti and Kavaratti islands also.

3)  Well facilitated new Passenger Hall cum Scanning Center at Kochi. It reduced difficulties of passengers in some extend.

4) Actions initiated to posting of local islanders as Specialist Doctors at Kavaratti with a handsome salaries.

5) Two new 250 Pax All Weather Ships M.V. Arabian Sea and M.V. Lakshadweep Sea dedicated to Lakshadweep People.

6) Due to continuous pressure of the Hon'ble MP, Administration signed contract with the Colombo Shipyard for the new two ships having 400 pax and 200 tonne cargo capacity with high quality facilities. It will dedicate to Lakshadweep people shortly.

7) HMAC and AAC Committees rejuvenate due to the pressure of Hon'ble Member of Parliament and cleared several issues pending in the various Ministries and Lakshadweep Administration.

8) Action Taken to get seat for Lakshadweep students at Delhi Jamia Hamdard University for Civil Service Coaching. Get benefit six brilliant Lakshadweep students.

9) Desalination Plant started functioning at Agatti and Minicoy islands.

10) Ministry of Shipping sanctioned a dedicated berth at Kochi, exclusively for Lakshadweep Passengers. It will function shortly.
